"BREAKING NEWS:
IN JOS NIGERIA, YOUTHS FOIL DSS' ATTEMPT TO ARREST PREACHER 8 HOURS AGO"
Those of you who thinks that NIGERIA is not under hostage should read this.
"It has become obvious that if we all don't keep tribal and religious sentiments and rise up to condemn what DSS and the overzealous Security Chiefs are turning NIGERIA into under the watch of President Buhari, NIGERIA will soonest be sliding into what Zimbabwe was under Robert Mugabe or What Syria is under President Assad.
Just yesterdays under the watch of President Good luck Jonathan, NIGERIANS were so free to exercise their rights to freedom of expression, the present seating Senate President- Senator Saraki once share a baffling story on how he worked into President Jonathan's office in Aso Rock and told him to his face of his intention to contest for the vacant seat of NIGERIA President during that Jonathan's era.
But the seat he was talking of as vacate was not of course originally vacate at the time of this his conversation with Mr. President judging by right of law who's existence is enshrined in NIGERIAN constitution. and yet while the seating President Jonathan has all the instrument under his disposal to molest, humiliate, capture, arrest or assassinate Senator Saraki, he didn't do anything of such but rather, wish him well in his quest and future endeavors. and while, the happy trigger and gun wedding DSS was in existence then, Jonathan did not use it to suppress the dissent voice of his fellow country men, please let fact appreciate facts and keep political sentiments apart.
What changes nowadays is that the DSS is over stepping it's boundaries on certain matters without due regards and respect given to the laws and the rights of freedom of expression of each and every individual NIGERIAN citizens.
In one time, it was the DSS Personnels who stormed and invaded a public school in Cross Rivers State, shooting guns in an armless school environment, intimated teachers in the present of their students over a minor matter between students or with their teacher.
perhaps, needless should I recall about our days in the secondary school back in late 90's.
A certain student has becomes a thorn on the flesh of his fellow students and teachers, and i remember how he has fought a teacher after betting Alwell a fellow student and then our principal has to expel him. It was after series of warnings has failed to yield in him a fruitful result; and that fateful morning, Franklin was expelled.
But his parents at learning that their ward was expelled from our school stormed the school premises the following morning.
Whether it was a troop of hired soldiers or the real parents of the child was what they'd claimed to be marveled me and that's what I couldn't fathom whether his father was an Army General or that both his mum and dad were military Personnels.
But the soldiers already stormed us like the bees and by the time they left, the humiliation on our teachers and principal was scary and unforgettable. It was during NIGERIA military era of Government and there was no single rage from the masses surrounding us who are supposed to condemn such heinous attack.
Yes, there was no networks of human rights activists with their own freedom assured in order to stand up and condemn it, no internet was in place and no social media like it is today.
Infact, for us the students, prior to that attack; we see our teachers as both mentors, heroes and warriors. but surprisingly, after that nefarious attack, we began to shame on our teachers as weakish and casting aspersions on them.
A teacher no longer talks before our senior students and we the Juniors saw Franklin instantly reinstated back to class and we learned he was a better warrior. That was how childish we were and how negatively that invasion impressed on us.
I can remember that later, that Invasion gave birth to so many bad things that happened in school and colleges such as secondary School cultism and our school particularly becomes a terror to other schools and communities surrounding us storming as many as possible with wires, cane, cutlasses and axes inflicting others injuries but though not killing as it where nowadays. Perhaps maybe because we didn't see the soldiers that stormed us kill, and who knows if we would have killed in likewise manner if they have killed in our presence. We're still kids then remember that kids often learns from what the see adults around them doing.
Our school was a technical college and so the wielding department students were more focused on construction of producing weapons such as axe, knives, arrows and bars etcetera and every other departments can produce one or the other and within a short time later after we're left comes- short guns and those influences metamorphic, forms and spread over colleges and universities and today, its reached into the villages, towns and urban cities respectively and cultism is everywhere amongst schools and colleges as those giving birth to other criminal offenses and making Citizens feel no longer safer.
You can see how schools cultism resulted from Leaderships rascalities and recklessness and who were the leaders of this Nigeria from 1980's through 1998.
Back to the headline, nowadays, such infractions making DSS to start going after and arresting Apostle Suleiman for offense such as expression of oneself shouldn't have arise, and still another was invasive arrest of Judges who ordinarily would have been invited without putting up the needless shows and the unwarranted public trial of the said Judges and their family names in the alter of public opinion, making headlines on National and international news papers and on-line sites.
Those stigmas on these people and their families were completely avoidable and needles without a formal juries pronouncements of guilty verdict on these accused.
And yet again, was clamping of persons or drumming up a wide goose chase in the public domain in the name of threats to arrest persons making a hate speech without proper references to the sections of laws that defines what constitutes of a hate speech and public incitement and what hate speeches and public incitement aren't.
Recently, the News happening in NIGERIA has been boring both in the local and international scenes because of too much needless cold blood murder, but instead of one hearing about the DSS declaring manhunts and making in road massive arrest of those murderers who are culpable in the Massacre of armless and innocent citizens of Benue State, Southern Kaduna State, and etcetera of it's kind, what is happening of recent according the news from punch is that the DSS have been laying in wait in it's usual way of an intensified efforts to arrest a clergy man named Prophet Isa El Buba, who's offense was that while preaching on the new year Eve, he has asked NIGERIANS to use their votes and vote out evil in the land. And as if living with one is an exclusive rights of all NIGERIANS, the DSS has swooped on him?

"There was apprehension in Jos on Tuesday as youths numbering over 100 resisted the arrest of a radical pastor and the General Overseer of the Evangelical Outreach Ministries international, Prophet Isa El-Buba, `by operatives of the Department of State Services.
According to the Northern City News which said: "they learnt that the DSS allegedly accused the cleric of delivering an inciting sermon in which he challenged Christians to use their voter cards to vote out “wickedness in government.”
The incident, which happened on Kassim Ibrahim Street in Jos city centre, threw the neighbourhood into a panic when the DSS operatives in their large number moved to arrest the cleric.
When journalists visited the church, the incident was being discussed in hushed tones by the Assistant Pastors, while clerics from other churches visited to solidarise with El-Buba over the incident.
The security agents were said to have laid siege to the church till 11.30pm on Monday, but were prevented from arresting the cleric by the youths.
El-Buba, in an interview with journalists, confirmed the aborted arrest.
The cleric insisted that the killings going on in Nigeria must stop; and that all Nigerians must rise up to ensure that it stops.
He said, “What transpired was that the DSS (operatives) invaded my house and my church premises and wanted to have me on Monday night. They came in their number, including a Deputy Director to arrest me in connection with the cross-over night (New Year Eve) broadcast I made to Nigerians.
“I stand by my words. I am neither scared nor intimidated by their invasion.
Why should I be scared when I am saying the truth? Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin brings reproach. I said in my broadcast that the unrighteousness in Nigeria will not do any one of us any good and I stand by it.
“This is because our generation and generations yet unborn will suffer if we refuse to do the right thing. Nigeria is a great nation, but we must uphold righteousness to be able to stand among great nations. So, I have just said that the right thing should be done in our nation, and I do not have anything against anyone.”
The development has drawn wide condemnation from human rights activists and other observers who believe that the cleric’s rights to freedom of expression were being trampled upon by the DSS."
Now in conclusion,
"In my own humble right of opinion, NIGERIANS existed before DSS, and instead of DSS, religion or tribal sentiments will continue overheating the polity and suddenly one day drag NIGERIANS into another civil war, it is high time NIGERIANS must all rise up and call on their legislators and demand our rights speech and condemn whatever is not good for one and for all NIGERIANS both at home and the diaspora.

The #NGRsenate must therefore revisit the act, the act that established DSS and it's operation, the law that brought us into federalism, and go back to where our forefathers envisioned and created from independence. We must dismantle the NIGERIAN self-styled military structure of federalism passed to us for the seek and good of now and the future. And make laws which shall be NIGERIAN People oriented and so be also stringent that any leader of our Nation shall be a leader of all NIGERIANS irrespective of where he or she comes from and our National Security organization outfits will never again participate, take interest or be seen as taking interest in anything NIGERIA politics while in service or the same thing applies to serving appointees and these persons shall not be seen affiliating or fraternizing with one political party against the other.

This will help in making our security outfits more proactive, unbiased and focused and our nation great again.
in view of specific rules such as arresting People; the fresh touching of the law must be done in a way that it doesn't have any forms of infringement on the citizens fundamental rights and once the court rules and deliver judgement, the President and every agents of Government the establishment must obey.
